Agreement for release and waiver of liability

I fully understand that exUSS Edson DD946 Field Day (which may include but not limited to Painting, Scraping Deck

and Bulkheads, Sweeping and washing down areas of the ship, electrical work and other dangerous and unnamed

activities aboard exUSS Edson DD946) are very dangerous activities.

I __________________________wish to participate in these activities knowing they are dangerous. I  accept

and assume all risks of injury (including death) to myself or the minor person named above. I represent and warrant

that I have the authority to give this release. In exchange for me or the minor person named above, being permitted

to participate in these activities, for myself, my heirs, guardians, and legal representative, I release and agree not

to make or bring any claim of any kind against Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum and the USS Edson DD946

Association or its officers, directors, clients, employees, volunteers or guests, for any injury (including death),

to myself or minor person named above or any damage to my property whether from anyone’s negligence or

not, or any other cause, arising out of my/their participation in these dangerous activities; and I also agree if

anyone makes any claims because of any injury to myself or the minor person named above (including death),

or for any damage to my property, I will keep all those released by this agreement free of  any damages or costs

because of those claims
